Anyway, you can tap that button while grounded in order to perform a little punch and while in mid-air, you can use it to latch onto things which is a big part of the gameplay. I absolutely loved rushing through levels as I rolled around while attempting the time attacks. On top of running and jumping, you can mash a button to roll which increases your speed substantially. There are only 3 buttons to use but you can perform a surprising amount of actions with them as you use them at certain times and in various circumstances. No matter which character you decide to play as, the gameplay remains the same. Let that be a lesson to you, kids! Of course, you don't really need a story but this silly premise acts as a worthy driving force nonetheless. There really isn't much story as you simply play as Punch, Twister, or Hope who are on a quest to capture a ghost after they accidentally release it while playing with things they found on the beach. Now that I've finished it and even got myself a flashy platinum trophy, I must say that it completely exceeded my expectations as it's one of the best games in the genre that I've played in recent years. I love 2D platformers and after watching the trailer for Marsupilami: Hoobadventure, I wanted to play it as it seemed promising.
